Our 2010-2011 application is now available online until February 15, 2010! Click on the School Resources link to the left and go to the 2010-2011 Application button to download. There is also a 2010-2011 Parent Information Sheet which has useful information for the application process. Both Parts A and B must be filled out or the application is not complete. The application must be postmarked by February 15, 2010, to be included for next year and should be mailed in to the Department of Accountability and Academic Outcomes (c/o Buist Application) at 75 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401. Also, be sure to attend one of our Open Houses for more information! The first Open House will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Please feel free to drop in anytime between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. A kindergarten information session will be held at noon in the Media Center. A second Open House will be held in the evening on January 13, 2010, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A kindergarten information session will be held at 6:00 pm in the Media Center. Tours will be given at both Open Houses. Come join us to learn all about the application process!

Dr. Mark Teseniar, our super Humanities teacher, had the privilege of visiting India on a Fulbright Scholarship this summer, in particular the village of Maganurpatti, the home village of a former student's family. Vasanth K., Dr. Teseniar's former student, is now a sophomore at Vanderbilt University and spends his summers in India trying to improve educational opportunities for young people. He is truly an inspiration and has raised funds to provide the village school with new classroom space, toilet facilities, recreation fields, landscaping, and a computer lab.
