Dr. Tracie Howe- IB Coordinator

I grew up in Greenville, SC and moved to Charleston when I graduated high school to attend CofC. I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from CofC and my educational doctorate in curriculum and assessment from Southern Wesleyan University. I am National Board Certified in early adolescence science. This is my 15th year at Buist and 23rd year in Charleston County. In August of 2024, I transitioned into the position of IB Coordinator and Instructional Coach. My new role is to support our educators in delivering high-quality instruction and to guide the continued success of our IB program, ensuring that our students are well-prepared for the challenges of the future.
