Dr. Tracie Howe- IB Coordinator

I grew up in Greenville, SC, and moved to Charleston after high school to attend the College of Charleston, where I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. I later completed my Doctorate in Curriculum and Assessment at Southern Wesleyan University and hold National Board Certification in Early Adolescence Science. Buist has been my home for more than 15 years. After teaching science and STEM for over two decades, I transitioned into the role of IB Coordinator and Instructional Coach in August 2024. In this position, I support teachers in providing high-quality instruction and help lead the ongoing success of our IB program, ensuring that our students are prepared to meet future challenges with confidence.
